The Roanoke Valley is easily accessible by car or air. Interstates 81, 77 and 64, U.S. routes 220 and 460, and the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway provide access from north, south, east and west.
The James E. Taliaferro Sports & Entertainment Complex is centrally located at the corner of Boulevard Roanoke and Texas Street in Salem, Virginia. To reach the complex:

From the North - Take I-81 South to Exit 141. Follow the signs to Salem. From the exit ramp, take Virginia route 419 South. Continue on route 419 through three traffic lights. After the third light veer to the right following the Salem Civic Center sign onto Texas Street, also known as the 460 Bypass and the Truck Route. Take a left onto Boulevard the entrance to is located to the left.

From the South - Take I-81 North to Exit 141. Follow the signs to Salem. From the exit ramp, take Virginia route 419 South. Continue on route 419 through three traffic lights. From U.S. 220 -Take the Franklin Road exit to route 419. Follow route 419 past Brambleton Avenue and Apperson Drive

The site number as shown on the Tournament Schedule is listed first then the site name: S1 - Salem Civic Center S2 - Roanoke College Bast Center S3 - Andrew Lewis Middle School S4 - Salem High School AAU recommends each hotel have a Code of Conduct for each team (coach and athletes) to sign. Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau will provide coaches with directions from each participating hotel to each school.
